Established in 1980, Sister Evelyn Tyson and Dr. Elma Jean Bowers saw the need to recognize women ages 65 and above within the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (PAW) who were dedicated, gracious, committed, virtuous, and who give untiring faithful service to the Lord and His people. These godly women must be faithful, active members of their local church, women’s auxiliary, their State/District auxiliary, and the International Missionary and Christian Women’s Auxiliary (IMCWA). The commitment to honor great women has continued. The precious Women of Pentecost are the most precious of gems in the Christian community and it is a privilege to honor and acknowledge them in our organization.  The deadline for 2021 nomination submission is June 14, 2021.

The price of a virtuous woman is said to be “far above rubies” (Proverbs 31:10). A Royal Ruby is a woman of God that has shown commitment, faithfulness, and dedication to ministry. Strength, inner beauty, grace and service to her community speaks well of her.
